“We had a fabulous time visiting 3 small wineries that all offered a wonderful tasting. Our dinner meal was delightful and delicious, prepared by the winery owner and representative of a typical Hungarian meal. The chestnut dessert was incredible and like nothing I have ever had. Our guide Susan did a fabulous job, providing some historical information as we left Budapest and the giving us information about the wine region we were visiting. Highly recommend this tour.”

Although it is paired with some drinks (a 1/2 a beer with the sausages, one little shot with the Langos and wine with the Goulash(last stop) When I asked if I could buy a beer to enjoy with one of the other savory dish I was asked if I could have a beer and a taste of spirit and be okay!! (literally a very small shot)…I wasn’t going to slam beers and shots I wanted to have it accompany my food. The guide wasn't very engaging. We should have had a shot of coffee with the chimmney cake. I have done many food tours this def not…”

“There were 6 of us on the tour with Andras(Andy) and we all had a wonderful time. We had been on two other city tours, but Andy gave us a lot of new information regarding local foods and customs. “Easily the best wine-tasting I've done. Really good exploration of the history of winemaking in the region, types of wine, things to look for, and plenty of back and forth with the unpretentious but very knowledgable guide, who was happy to answer questions, and calls it as he sees it, without being dismissive of anyone - winemakers, or tasters alike. The wines we tasted were all good quality wines - one of them among the best I have ever had - all relevant to the region, and we were given plenty of context for each one. I could not recommend this tasting enough.”
